Congratulations to Ms. Delanee Alexis Coley as the BSMC Central Maryland Chapter Henry O. Flipper Memorial Scholarship fund recipient! Ms. Coley, who currently attends New Town High School, has chosen to matriculate at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, “Aggie Pride”! Ms. Coley is a published author having published her first book entitled “The Psalms of My Heart” and is currently penning her second book, “Simply a Young Lady with No Apologies”. She has co-wrote and produced her original single entitled “Pure Thirst“.
Ms. Coley is a member of New Town’s National Honor Society, Student Government Association, Future Business Leaders of America and Parents Teachers Students Association. She is the president of Le’Pearlz, a college and career readiness organization and a member of New Town’s National Honor Society, Student Government Association, Future Business Leaders of America and Parents Teachers Students Association. Ms. Coley was selected as the first-place winner of the Women of Tomorrow for grades 11 – 12.
